"Didn't the queen tell you before you came here?" Black Steel frowned.
Han Sen shook his head and said, "The queen didn't say anything. She just told me to come to the space tunnel."
Black Steel sighed and said, "The queen is different. She must have her reasons for not telling you."
After pausing, Black Steel went on to say, "Those volcanoes are knife graveyards. Countless knives are buried there. When the space tunnel opens, the knives will erupt and wait for a new master to appear.
We are here to find a knife that suits us. We are here to be chosen by the knives.
In the first few outbreaks of sabers, generally, there won't be any sabers with good quality. As time goes on, there will be a higher probability of high-grade sabers appearing. However, it's still one in a million. Whether you can find them among the many sabers and gain their recognition, in addition to strength, you also need some luck. "
"Where do the knives in the knife graveyard come from?" Han Sen asked with shock.
"I don't know. This place opens once a year, but no one knows where the knives in the graveyard come from. If they aren't chosen this time, they will return to the graveyard and wait for the next year. The cycle will repeat until someone takes them away," Black Steel said.
"I see. Does that mean that all the weapons you bring out belong to you?"
Han Sen wondered. If he could find a few good knives, he could give one to everyone in his family. It would be best if he could take one for his son, grandson, and great-grandson. That way, he wouldn't have to come back again.
"My race has a rule. Each person can only bring out one knife." Black Steel looked at Han Sen coldly.
"I see."
Han Sen was disappointed, but he asked, "What level are the high-class knives? Are there any deified knives?"
Black Steel's mouth twitched. He realized Han Sen was a greedy guy, and he didn't try to hide it. He didn't know why the queen had accepted such a student.
"I don't know. The knife rain happens once every two hours. After seven rounds, they'll be Viscount class weapons. It'll be difficult to block them all. Over the years, no one has been able to last more than ten rounds. The best weapons I've found are Dukes," Black Steel answered Han Sen's question.
"Duke? That's not bad." Han Sen nodded.
Black Steel felt as if he had been talking to Han Sen a lot. His expressions were more expressive than usual. He said, "Did you bring high-class armor or weapons?"
"No. The queen said I didn't need them." Han Sen looked at Black Steel. He hadn't brought any high-class armor or weapons.
Black Steel said, "If you didn't, do you think a Baron can block a Viscount's knife rain?
The knife rain won't be like this. It'll last for ten minutes, and when it does, it'll be like a Viscount's full-power attack. Without high-class armor and weapons, how many of those attacks can you block? "
Han Sen looked at Black Steel quietly and didn't speak. If bringing high-class armor and weapons was going to work, Yisha would have allowed him to bring them. Black Steel didn't bring them, either, so something was wrong.
Black Steel went on to say, "It's pointless to bring those things with you.
They can last you a little longer, but with those things on you, the knives won't follow you.
They'd rather break themselves than let you use them.
So, you can't rely on external powers.
You have to rely on your own power.
You'll see where you go.
What kind of knife you find will depend on your own luck and your own abilities."
"Before the seven rounds of knife rain, you might be able to find an Earl weapon. After that, you might be able to find a Marquise or even a Duke weapon. But there won't be many of them, so it will depend on your luck." After that, Black Steel ignored Han Sen and walked towards the volcano.
"What are you doing?" Han Sen quickly followed him.
Black Steel seemed to be a nice guy, though. Han Sen thought it would be better to follow a guy who knew his way around than to wander around on his own. He'd be able to learn more from him, too.
"I'm going to the Knife Grave. There's a higher chance of finding a high-class weapon there," Black Steel answered as he walked.
He noticed that Han Sen was following him, so he stopped and looked at Han Sen. "Why aren't you looking for a weapon yourself? Why are you following me?"
"The seven knife rain will take a long time. I'm going to follow you and learn from you. I can go after the seven knife rain," Han Sen said with a smile.
Black Steel grunted and said, "I'm afraid you won't be able to last seven rounds."
Although he said that, Black Steel didn't want to chase Han Sen away. He walked towards a nearby volcano, which was the Knife Grave.
Han Sen and Black Steel walked together. When they were near the volcano, Black Steel pulled out a knife and gave it to Han Sen. "You are lucky. This is a Baron knife. It's rare to find a weapon like this in the first round of the knife rain. With this, you should be able to survive the first few rounds."
"Thank you." Han Sen held the knife and swung it a few times. The straight knife was quite handy.
Black Steel ignored him and kept walking up the volcano. When they were halfway up, they found another Baron knife.
"It looks like you know a lot about knives."
Han Sen was curious. The knives there didn't have the word Baron on them, and they didn't have any special presence. Han Sen couldn't tell which ones were ordinary and which were high-class, but Black Steel was able to tell.
Black Steel coldly said, "I've been practicing knife skills since I was young. My family has been making knives for generations. Knowing the quality of a weapon is just a basic skill."
"Good."
Han Sen's heart jumped, and he said to Black Steel, "If you are so good, why don't we work together?
You can help me pick out a good knife. "
Han Sen realized there were too many knives there. There were too many to count, and looking for a high-class weapon was like looking for a needle in a haystack.
It was better to have an expert help him.
Black Steel rolled his eyes at Han Sen and said, "What are you going to do if I help you?"
"I'm going to help you survive a few rounds of knife rain," Han Sen said.
Black Steel lifted his lips and ignored Han Sen. He sat down on a rock and placed his knife on his lap. He closed his eyes and waited for the next round of knife rain.
